Title: Central Hospital (Hatton) Warwickshire
Post by: selkie3 on Tuesday 02 February 16 00:34 GMT (UK)
I did my training there in 1975 as a post grad. I am especially interested in finding out the names of the female wards.I'm wondering if one was called Mary Barbour? or Edith Sitwell? I like the history of the women who fought to make life better for the women in the early years before the vote and Glasgow rent strike. I too remember the hospital in some detail. Can anybody remember the names please?
 ???

Hello and welcome to Rootschat.

There have been several previous threads about this hospital.  The most recent is the one with the link above, and it looks like at least one of the posters may have worked in the hospital and be able to answer your question.

If you post a couple more times (just reply saying HELLO a couple of times), then you can send a personal message to anyone on the other thread who you think might help - you do this by clicking on the image of the writing in the circle under their name.

You could also post on the thread attached, and then all the people who contributed to it will get an email that there has been another post.

wish you success.

I too trained as a nurse there in the 1980's. Some of the female wards I remember are Elizabeth Woodville and Mary Arden ward, also Jane Austin Ward at Leigh House. I hope that helps.
