Title: Where is/was "The Holm" Buncrana sometime in the 1800's
Post by: redlum2504 on Sunday 24 January 16 05:11 GMT (UK)
This was a residence my GGgrandfather was living in the 1860's and 70's. He was a mill worker.
He was Patrick O'Donnell and his wife was Amelia & or Mary Mcloughlin.

I have a fair bit of detail for their children already but still trying to find out more about Patrick.

Googling found a few references to a Joseph Kearney late of The Holm, Buncrana in 1938, possibly the same Joseph Kearney, national schoolteacher, found in 1940 notice.

This might be him in 1911-

A Quigley family lived at The Big Holm in Tullydish-
