GRONI has available online the following marriages registered in Belfast registration district:
- John Martin and Mary Fullerton, it took place on 29 September 1923;
- Ernest McAleese and Isabella Fullerton, it took place on 12 July 1926.

Choosing the "Full" viewing option (5 credits, currently £2) shows you an extract of the original document: https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/

Possibilities from the Belfast street directories:
1932, Meekon Street: 38. Martin, John
1943, Holland Drive:  19. McAleese, E. H., gardener

Ernest McAleese died 15 March 1971, last place of residence 19 Holland Drive, buried in grave D 285 of Roselawn Cemetery with several Fullertons: http://www.rootschat.com/links/01gv6/

Child of Ernest and Isabella sadly stillborn, 18 September 1948: http://www.rootschat.com/links/01gv7/

According to the the grave record, Ernest McAleese's reported age when he died in 1971 was 65, given that and the 1943 street directory occupation of gardener, this 1911 census return showing two older brothers as gardeners must be a possibility:

And the family in 1901:

Ernest McAleese (above) was born 30 July 1905, GRONI online shows his mother's maiden name as Lowe.

Ernest's parents were James McAleese (father Robert McAleese) and Maria Lowe (father Alexander Lowe) who got married in Dunmurry Presbyterian Church on 3 July 1893.

GRONI online has their marriage and children's birth records.

You're welcome.  IF John Martin of 38 Meekon Street in the 1932 Belfast street directory is the correct one, then this is him in grave U 148 in Roselawn Cemetery, died 28 January 1966, last place of residence 38 Meekon Street, other grave occupants (wife?) Mary Martin and Elizabeth Thomson Martin:

On the information so far, this would be my best guess in the 1911 census for Isabella and Mary Jane Fullerton: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Down/Pottinger__part_of_/Kenbaan_Street/221754/

And 1901: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Down/Pottinger/Ravensdale_Street/1260786/

The couple in these returns are Alexander Fullerton and Mary Campbell who got married on 15 February 1898 in St. Anne's Church of Ireland, both bride's / groom's fathers were called John - is Alexander's father John Fullerton the one that married Hannah McClintock?  If so, then having worked back to this point I'm feeling more comfortable with the 1920s marriages for Isabella and Mary Jane...

Just looking at one of the other occupants of grave D 285 in Roselawn Cemetery (previously posted), a 60 year old Susan Fullerton of 59 Skipton Street who died on 4 July 1959:
https://ssl.belfastcity.gov.uk/burialsearch/BurialRecordDetails.aspx?RecordID=9097.297

From the 1951 Belfast street directory for Skipton Street: 59 Fullerton, Miss S.

Just wondering if this is Mary Jane and Isabella's sister Susan in the 1901 Ravensdale Street and 1911 Kenbaan Street census returns (mistranscribed as Saran in 1911)?

Note also the 1960 Belfast street directory for Skipton Street:
57 Fullerton, Thomas, labourer [may be co-incidence / unconnected]
59 Fullerton, Miss Isabella, tobacco worker

(All the street directories here: http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/index.htm)

More grave records, this time for grave 237 in section C1 of Dundonald Cemetery, including occupants Alexander Fullerton and Mary Fullerton last resident 59 Skipton Street who died in 1937 and 1942 respectively, presumably their daughter Hannah, and a 7 year old Alexander Fullerton died January 1935:

That grave would appear to be without headstone: http://www.belfastforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,54957.msg1470995.html#msg1470995

I have been trying to find Fullerton connections in Belfast as well.  I'm tied to a Dr. George Franklin Fullerton who moved to Texas following the Civil War https://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth354360/m1/287/
His Father James C Fullerton may have been born in Belfast circa 1799 and traveled to South Carolina with his family a John F Fullerton born circa 1755 and mother Sarah Edward.

I've been unable to find any more information if you have ever come across those names in your research it would be much appreciated.
I welcome any Fullerton males to test with familytreedna and join the Fullerton surname project.
