Post by: James2you on Saturday 16 January 16 16:02 GMT (UK)
Hi, just moved into the Village and found that it had an old Bakery on the high Street. I am very much interested to know if any one can help with any details at all.

Thanks

John

When?

Was one of your ancestors connected to it - details please?

Have you made enquiries with local residents/organisations?

No Carolew, asking for a friend who now owns the property & would dearly like to learn more...

If your friend is looking for previous owners - the deeds of the property should have some info.

You don't give any clues as to the timescale of when the property was built but FindMyPast allows you to search census entries by address if you are looking for who owned it previously

Your friend could also use the electoral registers and trade directories available at the records office for additional research
