Hi just a quick question if a burial record just states the parish and county...in my case in the Parish of Rushden in county of Northamptonshire where would they likely have been buried?

I am not sure whether you mean the Parish Church or Cemetery.

on the burial record i have got it only says Burial in the parish of Rushden in the county of Northamptonshire...and the persons name and burial date that is it...i don't know whether its a church yard or cemetery that is want i need help with...its date is 1862...i will have a look n the Rushden site but have been through it already

The Newton Road Cemetery in Rushden dates from 1887.

Where did you get the burial record you are referring to?

It may well be at St Mary's Rushden ,actually in the churchyard which is where burials took place before the cemetery up Newton Road was built.
