Hi there,
I am hoping someone can help me please...i have been trying to check out a marriage date without having to buy a certificate (in case im wrong) for a Edward Green to a Mary Philips marriage date ive been told is 24 October 1803 possibly at St Andrews Church in Kimbolton...
Does anyone know where i might possibly be able to find out on line or if some one can check/find out for me please...Thanks

Hi
You won't be able to buy a marriage certificate for an 1803 marriage, registration did not start until 1837.
The film number indicated on the following covers Keyston & Kimbolton

Ok thank you very much i will have a look

Hunts Marriage Index shows such a marriage in 1803 in Kimbolton. No other parish mentioned implying that both were otp. You need to check the parish register microfilm to see who the witnesses were and to get the exact date.

how do i do that? can it be done online?

The link that Rosie gave confirms the date, taken from the parish register. You can't view the parish register online, but the microfilm can be ordered from, and viewed at, your nearest LDS Family History Centre, unless Huntingdon or Cambridge Archives is closer.
