There is a Lena Stix aged 28 in 1904 going into America born in Germany (Berlin) but she is a wife.
Clearly not your Herta Lena Stix age wise

Family Search has Emil as Herta's father on marriage

-
The Hervey/Stix wedding announcement in The Bury Free Press states that Ernestine is the daughter of Herr Emil Stix of Vienna.
-
So I wonder why Herta Stix was in India?
Does Emil Stix appear in India to?
Did Emil Stix of Vienna ever go to England?

Not sure how you would search "The times of India" for the Anastasiades/Stix marriage or would she have been Herta Waldegg or Herta Maufe and a wife of someone that took her to India?

There is a 1963 snippet view Debretts entry in google books
..19S0, Ernestine Apollonia, dau. of Emil Stix, of Vienna. Residence, 15, Bacton Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk
Passenger list incoming for Herta c1915 address is as 17 Queen's road, Felixstowe, might be another way to look round it.

I wonder if anybody has a World subscription to lookup this man with his relatives?

In response to the above. This is also correct. Amanda sadly died due to alcoholism and we no longer have contact with her son or husband

Greetings to you Phoenix18,
I have husband of Amanda:
Philippe Andre CYWAN 1937-2007 and son Max.
Do you have death details for Amanda?
What do her initials H.G. stand for?
Do you have death details for Amanda's mother Josette SIMONETT 11 Oct 1915-- ?
Please say how Charlotte BRADY fits in.
I link with Gladys Evelyn Prudence STUTCHBURY 1883-1976, wife of Sir Edward Brantwood MUFF later MAUFE 1882-1974.
Do you have a family tree that I might view? I am happy to help you with my research.
Many thanks for being in touch.
Mark
-
Hi
Amandas mother is Herta Maufe
I do not know the other name you mentioned
Herta, Gertrude, Ernestine and Charlotte are sisters, daughters of emil STIX from Austria. They moved here because of ww2.
I do not have any death details or a family tree. I just searched for my aunts name to see how she was linked to lord HERVEY and this thread came up to my surprise
-
I believe J Simonet is Philippe Andre Cywan's mother according to an engagement announced Oct 27 1961in The Times UK to Miss Elizabeth Ann Bedford, his first wife. Elizabeth remarried 1991 to Anthony G Snow so I'm not sure of exact divorce date with Philippe. Not sure if that helps with your original post!
