Title: Deciphering birthplace in Middlesex
Post by: firefly74 on Friday 08 January 16 20:13 GMT (UK)
Hello

I'm trying to figure out the birthplace of an ancestor in Middlesex - he's the plasterer in the middle line. It looks like St Pauls but I can't read the last word. Chapel? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to figure out exactly where he says he was born in order to match up with possible births.

Thanks
Helen

I think it's St Paul's Ch Yd, ie Churchyard.
