Title: Help deciphering name
Post by: DanWal1 on Saturday 02 January 16 22:09 GMT (UK)
Can I please have some opinions on what this last name might be? Ancestry says "Luer" but FamilySearch thinks "Caer." Everything on this record matches up with my research, so I was wondering what people thought of it.

My guess would be Caer.

Im divided, everything else apart from the last name matches up, but if the last name is Carrs, then this record would fit perfectly.

Me too....now I look again....I though Caer was the most likely of your too options but Carr is the most likely.

I'm hoping that the reason for no "s" being visible is due to poor handwriting.
