Robertson, Jane, age 17
Robertson, Maggie, age 16,
Robertson, John Jas, age 15

Some of this family went to live in Massachusetts, but I am not finding them there either.
Thank you, :)

There is a passenger list for the Olivette which departed from Halifax and arrived in Boston on 25 Aug 1897 that has a Maggie Robertson, 23 listed. She was going to Boston. She appears to have been travelling alone and there isn't any other information that would show conclusively that this is your Maggie.

Thanks Jacquie for having a look. :)
I will have another look around Massachusetts.

Thanks Sandra for having a look. :)
From an excellent suggestion, I have posted on the USA board looking for an obit. for another
sister, Barbara Dinette Doyle who died in Worcester, Mass. Dec. 10, 1939. Perhaps there
may be a mention of her sisters.

There is a Margaret Robertson in Churchville Pioneer Cemetery without any other family members to give a clue to who she belongs to. In 1901 her father was in Churchville.

I hadn't seen that, that's great, thank you. I will follow that up.

From my post on USA board, I received from the Worcester Library an obit for sister Barbara
Doyle. She was survived by husband Martin, brother John, sister Rose and....Mrs. Margaret
Cotton of Chicago, Illinois (who seems to go by the name Maude)

One sister accounted for. ;D And I know now that sister Jane died sometime before 1939.
Thanks again everyone. ;D

Hi Sandra :)
I did see the 1930 census for them, but haven't followed up yet, so a big thank you for that.
A confusing family. Mary/Margaret/Maude/Mamie ???
Did you happen to spot the marriage of Magaret and William Klein? Not seeing it.

Hi- I am Deanna De Queredo Gill daughter of the late James William, sister of the late Dolores and late Daniel. Found this post online when googling my sisters name. I lost her suddenly almost 3 years ago. I never knew much of my Dads family history but had heard the name Robertson and knew of Scotch Irish descent. His mother was Mary Klein. Intrigued... happy to help if I can.
