Hi All,

I am hoping someone can help me find out a bit more about the following person: Elizabeth Wilkerson.

b. 9.12.1911 location unknown
m. June 1934 to James William Packard in London
(James Packard married less than a year after his 1st wife died)
was living in Crawley, Winchester during the late 1940's-1950's.
Ran the Fox and Hounds pub in Crawley with above mentioned husband
d. august 1989 in Winchester.

She was known as Betty Packard.

Can any one lend a hand? Or rather need another perspective as brain fried from looking!

What information does her marriage certificate give on her and her father

Is it correct to read her date of birth as 9 Dec 1911 and not Sept 12 1911 as the birth of a Elizabeth M Wilkerson was registered in Royston in Sept Q 1911.

freeREG has a birth registration for Elizabeth M Wilkerson Sept quarter of 1911, registration district of Royston, mother's maiden name CHAPLIN.

Plus a marriage for John Clear WILKERSON to Ellen Maud CHAPLIN Dec quarter 1904, Ware registration district.

Might be worth investigating.

I think this rules out that one  :)

The 1939 register gives the date of birth as 9 December 1909 for Elizabeth who is residing with James W Packard in Winchester RD
