Post by: SHORTTCON on Monday 28 December 15 13:37 GMT (UK)
Hi,
I am seeking information on Ada Elizabeth Sharman, who married John Shortt (1918 ) from Limerick, Ireland. They has son, John William Shortt  born 1919.
I believe she died in the 1920's, but I don't know if she was buried in England or Ireland

Thank you

The marriage and John's birth spells Short with one t not two.

Is this Ada's birth?

Ada Elizabeth Sharman born Wellingboro' 1899?

If so, this could be her death

Hello again,
Please can you advise of any information on John William Short, (Son of Ada Elizabeth Short & John Short). His half brother in Ireland is still living and would love to know about John: who had been living in the UK.

Many thanks

I presume he is now dead, otherwise we can't mention his name?

Someone of that name was registered March quarter 1919 in Northampton, mother maiden name Sharman.

There are a couple of possible marriages, but I will wait until you can confirm the people are no longer alive.

Hello Groom, apologies for the delay in responding.
John William Short's wife's name was Betty "Elizabeth"
He served in WW2 " British Army".
I hope this narrows it down.

Thank you
