I am hoping someone can help me decipher Margaret Campbell's maiden name on the fourth line.
Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for your help. It's a difficult one. I will work on those two names and see what I come up with.
Thanks again for your help.

To me it looks like Hayman
If you study the letter "n" on the other words on the page they are virtually all the same.

Thanks Annie.
Trying to find a marriage between Margaret Hayman and Alexander Campbell but so far no luck.

I couldn't find a marriage either.
Do you have the birth cert. of the child who married?
Annie
Added.....Neither Hayman nor Hayward

The only birth I could find for John Campbell in Argyllshire in 1832 have parents Alexander Campbell and Margaret Hyndman.
I had hoped to find John Campbell's death to verify his mothers name but he died between 1881 and 1891 in Lanarkshire and there are about 15 deaths to choose from.
The search continues.

Ask Scotland's People for a clearer copy. They're very obliging.
