Title: Birth/Baptism records from Casino, Italy

Hi

Is anyone able to tell me if birth/baptism records exist for Casino, Italy?

My great aunts husband David Thomas Bevan was said to be born there on 20 Aug 1901. I found this our from ordering a copy of his death certificate. The broader family originally thought he was from Australia so it was a surprise that he was born in Italy.

We have very little info about him but his parents names were meant to be Thomas Bevan and Janet Davis. Im hoping to explore this family line to see if he had any siblings and to discover where his family came from.

Thank you for the info. I've since received another document which states his birthplace was Newcastle, New South Wales and have found records of him there.

More nails in the coffin of the accuracy of death certificates.
