I'm looking for any info on Robert E. BOYNES, who married Elsie ISAACSON in in Ipswich in 1945. My Boynes family hailed from Ipswich, and I think it likely there is some connection; would love to find out more. Thanks for any help.

I wonder if he was Robert Edward Boynes born 19 Nov 1915 who died in Ipswich age 72  Sept Qtr 1988 Ipswich  10  2391

There is a birth of a Robert E Boynes  1915  Dec Qtr  Colchester   4a  1382
The mother's maiden name was    Boynes

Have you checked freebmd for a birth which would give his mothers maiden name.  Then check for the parents marriage and see whether his fathers name matches anything in your own FH

Looking at freebmd - he wasn't born in Suffolk

Thanks Kay and Carole; the Colchester one is a possibility as a branch of the family did go to Colchester.
