Title: Marriage of Alice Winfield and John Nicholson 1924 Chesterfield

Hi I wonder if anyone has access to marriages for Chesterfield for the above couple.  I am doing a very basic tree for my freinds birthday and have been fortunate on most of her ancestors as they were good surnames and I was able to access a lot of on line data, however on this branch I cant get any further on John Nicholsons line with out access to the data from the marriage certificate as the only piece of information I know for certain is that he married Alice Winfield. I dont have a birth or death record for him.

Any help will be most appreciated.

As far as I'm aware, the only way to get the information is to buy the certificate. If you know the church they were married in, you might be able to get access to the parish records.

If they did not marry in a church then the only way to get information is to buy a copy of the certificate.
