Hi all,
I am looking for one John Moor[e] born in North Leverton Notts in 1831/2 I tried going through the images for the N. Leverton section: Applethorpe Notts but to no avail. I noted on the front page of the Applethorpe section that there should be schedules 10 & 11 , but the Ancestry index only gives us section 10.
Has anyone experienced asking Ancestry/NA for the missing schedule to be found scanned and indexed?

FindMyPast doesn't have anything for people in North Leverton, on the 1851 census, either!
So, either the whole piece and/or folio is missing, or the village was called something else back then?
Interestingly, the GenUKI page for Northe Leverton with Hablesthorpe, which has the census references, does NOT show a reference for 1851?

Not sure what you mean there is only Enumeration District 10 for Applethorpe, and Enumeration District 11 for North Leverton. A schedule is the individual census form for each household.

Is it just John that you are missing in 1851, I presume he is the one with mother Sarah and Ann (12) and Jane (1) in 1841. Was his father Henry, as it looks like just him with wife Sarah in 1851 at probably the same address as neighbour Robert White is next door but one. :-\

Ah, well spotted Rosie, that's him. But I can't find him anywhere in the 1951. Given that he married in '52 to a women in South Leverton, I expected him to remain local.
Sorry Stanmapstone, I meant district. So these are not-subsets of a place such as Applesthorpe? My mistake. I looked either side of the district 10 and couldn't see the district 11, so presumed it was missing.

KGarrad, thanks I just twigged, from the GenUKI text. The railway ran through the town, and John was a railway worker according to his daughter - so perhaps he travelled with work?

On Ancestry you can use the box on the right to access the enumeration district.
