Anyone have knowledge of or information about a John Neeson, probably born Antrim about 1850, who in September 1917 made an application to Public Records Office Ireland regarding the 1841 and 1851 Census Returns. This may have been in connection with a pension or similar and in absence of a birth certificate. He stated his parents to be Richard Neeson and Catherine nee Doogan.

It's an Old Age Pension claim-
NEESON John Richard NEESON Catherine NEESON nee DUGAN Kilcurry Ahoghill Toome Lower Antrim 1917 - Ardnaglass, by Ahoghill, Antrim. Born about 1850.

According to the above extract, John Neeson stated the family were living in Kilcurry townland at the time of the 1851 census.

Hi. For various reasons I have just managed to pick this reply up. Sorry for delay. I am grateful to you. Your info about the possible Duggan connection has in fact rang a big bell!! The Catherine Doogan mentioned is in fact the daughter of a Thomas Doogan (Duggan, Dougan etc ?) and her mother was recorded as a Margaret McCann. It adds another piece to my jigsaw. I take it I can access the plan/drawing of the shared land mentioned?
