This lady, my great aunt, died in Bournemouth in December 1966 - I have no idea where she was buried/cremated. She was, for some years, secretary to the Mayor of Bournemouth....any information/photograph (if possible) about this lady would be gratefully received :)

Have you applied for her will for further information?
Have you tried the local newspaper archives for possible funeral report or death notices?

Her entry in the Probate Calender gives date of death as 28th November 1966; address 131 Western Avenue, Ensbury Park, Bournemouth. Probate granted to Doreen Frances Kemp, married women.
Kinson Cemetery would be the place to start your search as that was probably closest to her home.

Many thanks to you all for your helpful replies....I had initially discovered incorrect information two years ago about my great aunt which led me on a wild goose chase :( I had moved on to researching another part of the family when Lavinia's name cropped up again - hence my new attempt to find further details.
At least I now have some base from which to move forward in my researches. :)
