Title: Gillespie

I am interested in any information on the family of Leonard Gillespie and Darrel Ernest Gillespie who were cousins. This does sound a bit vague as the only information I have is the Gillespie family came from Scotland.

Leonard lived and died in Australia - approximately 1915 to 1985. We know he had made contact with his cousin some 50 years ago when they both had sons born around that time. I am researching this for my brother who is married to a Gillespie in Australia and is doing her family tree.

Bear in mind that the information given on a death certificate is not always correct.

I can see Leonard on electoral rolls in Queensland from 1968 to 1977.

If you know that Leonard was born in Scotland then you will need to go to ScotlandsPeople to find a birth certificate:
