Title: Herbert Callister Baptism - Can't find

I am unable to find any baptism records for Herbert Callister, illegitimate son of Elizabeth Callister, born 7th January 1883 at 7 Brighton Avenue, Gorton, Manchester.  I have tried Lancashire On Line, but without any success.  Can anyone suggest any other possible sites please.

Are you certain he was baptised?  Many illegitimate (and legitimate) children weren't

I just assumed that he would have been baptised - possibly the fact that I can't find any record means I assumed incorrectly.
