Can anyone help?
I'm looking for the address of John Crossley, a labourer. Possibly in the Sandy Row area of Belfast.
Many thanks
-
Could it be:
John Crossley
91 Matilda Street
Sandy Row
Belfast South
Check out "The Ulster Covenant" section of the PRONI website. Here you can access a photo of this persons signature on the covenant, which dates from 1912. Thus I guess it is the same person.

Thanks for your suggestion Gary0B.
Yes it is the same John Crossley but I have previously checked every house in Matilda Street in the directory for 1911, including all the addresses he has given in various other documents as well as The Ulster Covenant but no luck.
Thanks again.

Have you tried the 1911 census? he may have been a lodger at the address.

Not yet, it means a trip to Dublin and I'm in England, so I thought I'd try to find an address for him first rather than have a wasted trip, but maybe I'll have to go to Dublin and trawl through the census for the whole of the Sandy Row area. I could be there for years!!
Thanks for your suggestion.
