This is my GGG grandma WILLIAMS taken sometime before 1935 probably in Palmerston North NZ when she died at the ripe old age of 95!
This is the only photo we have of her, although I have a great one of her sister at a younger age. My question is is it possible to define her facial features any more?
-
i would think so, look forward to seeing it!

Here's a try from me

Oh wow Pat, that's fab. What a talent! And so much more than I expected. Thank you so much. You have defined her to be a wise old lady. I think the definition around the mouth and nose is just great. What she must have seen in her life!
I have a suspicion she may be wearing glasses in the photo - what do you think?
-
Yes I too thought she may be wearing glasses....lovely lady.
Carol
-
Yes, I think she may be wearing glasses too. I will have a look at it again tomorrow and see if I can define them better.

Carolyn,
Can you send through the larger original copy you worked on?
Much appreciated,
-
Hi... This one should print out a 12 x 8 inch photo.
Let me know how you go.
Carolyn :)
-
Hi again......I couldn't resist doing a colour version, I hope you like it.
Carolyn :)
-
A clean from me too...For best results and a good print out a scan of 300dpi is recommended...this was a very low 72dpi and a lot of fine detail has been lost.

Wow! I never expected so many lovely people to give up their time to have a go at this for me. Love what you have all done.
Carolyn - thanks for bigger and superb colour!
Carol - thanks for your clean on the two variations - looks great with the minimalist approach and I like how you've framed it.
Trishanne - Very nice. Great detail on the glasses :)
