I'm not sure what information you are looking for.

David Bonner and Elizabeth Mckillop had a son, James, baptised Coldingham, 5 August 1770.

Snippets with reference to 'Bonnar' here but not sure if this would be your James.

Another snippet from The Farmer's Magazine volume 3. It is a google book. If you click on the book a search this book will be seen on the left hand side of the page.
There are others that I haven't accessed. I put 'books on bees Bonnar in the google search and several appeared.
However this may not be your James!

This is more like it. The article says that he was from Auchencrow, Berwickshire. That is near Coldingham.

Was it the 'bee' information you were looking for or other ancestors?
