Title: Susanna Chipp (nee Symonds)
Post by: rayharris185 on Saturday 19 September 15 18:00 BST (UK)
Trying to find burial record for Susanna
Robert Chipp married Susanna Symonds at Alton Pancras on 21 Apr 1808 - they had 5 children (all baptised in Alton Pancras) (Frances 1809, Elizabeth 1810, Barbara 1812, Robert 1814 and Charles in 1824)
Robert remarried in Worth Matravers on 25 Oct 1830 where he is shown as a widower from Upwey, Weymouth - his second wife was Mary Brown Hall.
There is a burial record for a Susan Chipp in 1838 at Bridport but she is shown as an infant.
Any help would be appreciated

A Sarah Chipp was buried in Worth Matravers (although the entry describes her as of Weston (the one in Portland?)) in 1826, aged 48, so the right age. It could be a mistaken entry.

There is a Susan Symonds buried 22 Feb 1830 in Upwey her age is 37. Could her burial have been recorded in her maiden name by mistake?

Just realised she would only 16 or so at marriage so probably a bit young
