My grandfather Alfred 'Mac' McDonald (1910-1989) worked for Bentalls at Kingston for 50 years. This was commemorated on a board that used to be on one of the floors. Other members of the family including his wife, son and daughter also worked in the store at one time or another.
I have been in touch with the current owners of Bentalls who advise me that the archives are now held by the Bentalls family. I am keen to find out more about the role my grandfather performed in his 50 years and therefore need to track down someone within the Bentalls family.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Cannot give names because some of these people may still be alive, however the following
connections give information about Frank Bentall who started this store and the names
of his Grandson & Great Grandson.
