Title: Bristol Ship Owners

Could someone point me to where there may be records of Bristol Ship owners in the early 19th century please?

I'm researching Richard Ford born approx 1776 - died 1842 in Kew, Surrey

I'm aware of the book edited by Graham Farr on owners of Bristol ships over over 150 tons, 1800 - 1838 and he is not mentioned in that.

Other information is that his father is believed to be William.
