I think Scotlandspeople has the marriage as William Bryden and Margaret AGAR.

Going by this reference https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTFH-FR6 , in 1891 I think the family are in Coatbridge , William Bryden b. c1857 Galashiels Roxburghshire.
There is also a William Bryden b. c1890 Coatbridge on the index.

Unless there is an error on the 1901 census re the age of the child William Bryden, that's how I read it.
If it is the same child, he would be age 11 rather than age 7

There is death of a 2 yr old child named William Bryden.
Death registered in Old Monkland 1891

Hi,

This is my husband's 2nd Great Grandfather.  William was bord 10th Dec 1856 in Ladhope, Roxburghshire.  He married Margaret Agar 8th Jul 1881.  At the time of the census he is at 21 Alexander Street, however by July his address is 6 Craig Street.  They are living at 437 Main Street Old Monkland in 1901 but on 1911 census they have moved to 93 Dale Street, Glasgow.  He died 17th July 1925.

Cheers
Reeni

Certainly is a possibility...

The ages is about right..

His Mother Margaret is stated on his marriage cert as deceased, but his father James is still living..in 1881.

Can you read what his fathers occupation is in 1881 ?

Is the father's occupation Ironwork Labourer ?

I've cropped the image of the marriage certificate as per RC rules on copyright.
