Title: Gregson Street, St Augustines, Everton, Lancashire

My relation is James Francis Dearden and he lived(born 1844 in Preston) and died (1902) at 28 Gregson Street, St Augustine Parish, Everton, Liverpool as per his census records.

Here lies my problem, I cannot find which Gregson Street. There are a few in the wide area and I dont know which one is correct. Does anyone know?

Using Google Maps, there is a Gregson Street with a postcode of L6 1NX.
This is on the south side of Everton, on the edge of Rupert Lane Recreation Ground?

Number 28 was on the north side of the street near to the corner with Bright Street:-

Have you looked at Liverpool directories showing Gregson Street? There are some that show him there such as Ancestry's Kelly's 1881 and Historical Directories' Kelly's 1894 & Gore's 1900 these last two are available here:-
