Hallo everyone I am new to this so apologies in advance :-) I am looking for a Patrick McCartin who died on 23rd November 1905. He was an RIC officer - originally from Meath but stationed for many years in Muff where he died. Where would he have been buried? Is there anywhere I can see his grave online?

Have you got his death certificate what did died of, do you know his service number?
Of course the police in ireland are now called the Garda, have you been in touch with the Garda in Muff?
Have you tried putting a notice in one off the local papers of information?

I found this death notice for you in the L'Derry Sentinel. Saturday 25th November, 1905.
McCARTIN: November 23, 1905 at his residence Muff, Patrick McCartin R.I.C. aged 57 years. R.I.P. His remains will be removed for interment in Iskaheen tomorrow Sunday 26th inst at ten o'clock. Friends will please accept this intimation.
Patrick would be buried in the old section of Iskaheen. My own ancestors are buried there and sorry to say some time ago the graveyard was cleared of overgrowth etc,. I believe some broken headstones were not recorded back then.
