I have some Cobbetts in my tree (loosely related by marriage), but none from the Greenwich/Woolwich area. Most of mine seem to orginate in the Woking, Surrey areas.

Greetings!
I realise that this is a very old message, but I have only just stumbled over it, partly because I have not been doing a lot of family history research of late due to ill health. However, feeling back to my old self again now, I have thrown myself back into my obsessive hobby in a big way!
I cannot help you with any more information than you have already been given on this website, which is much the same as I have uncovered. Horace King Coulson is my first cousin (twice removed) and I have been doing lots of research into his family this past few weeks, uncovering some rather interesting information. If you like to get in touch with me I will be only too happy to share what I have with you.
My initial interest is and always has been, the Atwater family ....Charlotte Atwater (1847) married George Coulson (1838), but my actual descent is from an illegitimate daughter of Charlotte whom I always doubted that George was the father, because my g.grandmother Charlotte Louisa was born in 1866, some 6 years prior to Charlotte and George marrying. Now though, through research, I am of the opinion that he was indeed my gg grandfather, but that is a story still unfolding! Of course, I am related to their children....George William and Mary Susanna (plus the deceased Helen Harriet), and indeed to Horace King Coulson.

Sorry but apart from that I cant help you

Thank you so much for taking time out to write back to me.
I am so sorry that Beryl Coulson has passed on, but how sweet of you to try to help her. I did know about her twin Jean dying when she was one year old...very sad! I somehow suspect that the twins older brother will also have died by now as he was born in 1921. Must see if I can find a death for him!
Anyway, again, many thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it!
Kindest regards, Diana
