Title: marriage record-can't find again?

A few years ago I looked up m record for my grandmother Mary Veronica Beattie  b 1885 Sydney, I found the record of her m to grandfather Wm James Jones in 1911, Sydney but also found an earlier record #3002/1901 to Alexander C Gruenling in 1901, I put it aside as no one else thought this was right, I have now tried to re look it up and I cannot find it in the NSW Australia Marriage Index? are there other records I could check with?  Have no other information on the groom.

Thanking in advance for any suggestions.
