Title: Sheward look up request

Hello,

Is there a kind soul out there who could do a look up for me please?

I would like to find out the details of the marriage between John Sheward born c1660, probably in Stottesdon but that's not definite & Alice ??? I think the surname is either Jennings or Hamond as there are 2 births registered in 1660 in Stottesdon in the same year according to FindMyPast. Sheward could be spelt as Seward. The eldest child was born in 1683 in Stottesdon so I'm guessing the marriage took place around 1682.

FindMyPast records are pretty good for Shropshire but by no means complete.

Sorry, I can only find a marriage between a John Sheward and a Mary Cheese which took place in Stottesdon on February 7th 1681. I'll keep an eye out but I can't see anything for John and Alice  ???

Hi the only birth in 1683 Stottesdon with Mother Alice, is a Thomas to a THOMAS & Alice?

Thanks & a belated apology for looking both of you.

It may be that there are more records for this part of Shropshire still to be added, (or I have the wrong marriage). I'll keep a note to revisit this every so often.
