I wonder if anyone has ,or knows of ,an album showing the photographs of men killed in WW1 who came from Blackwell in Derbyshire and which I gather was given to relatives of these casualties.
I was given one of these albums when young by the sister of Joseph Wilson an ex miner killed in WW1 .Unfortunately it was lost and I should so like a copy of a photograph of Joseph from this book as I have no other.

Hello and welcome to Rootschat!
Have you thought of writing to the local newspaper with your request?
-
Hullo and thank you. Good idea and I'll definitely take your advice .

Hello :)
A warm welcome from me too.
There is a photograph and report in the Derbyshire Courier, Dec 1915, which I think may be your Joseph.
Findmypast have the newspaper online.

Thank you ! I am so sorry that I didn't see your message earlier.
I have sent a personal message but having seen that the newspaper may have his photo I can look it up on Findmypast myself so no need to put you to the lengthy trouble of sending it to me. I am so pleased for it is very likely to be my Joseph and do thank you for your kind offer.
