my 3 x grandfather moved to Warminster in 1806 with his wife Jemima from Norwich, they had 2 children William and Mary ,in the 1841 census no sign of Samuel ,I cannot find his death recorded in BMD records would it be possible for someone to check the St Denys records for his death. thanks

This could be the one,,,,Samuel Coleman death Salisbury 1848 1st qtr 8- 378.
As Jemima lived with the Price family Fore St Warminster, from 1841 onwards.
She is listed as an independent in 1841.

yes that is a possibility ,would it give his place of birth on his death certificate ?if it does I could send for a copy and know exactly if it is the right Samuel .

Dont worry it happens
Have had another look for Samuel Colemans death, what if it was before 1837.
Getting the 1848 death cert might be helpful,he could have been incarcerated somewhere in Salisbury area, there does not appear to be another likely candidate within reach of Warminster in that time frame. However before registrations started in 1837, is a different story.
Jemima was on her own in Warminster right up to her death 1875.
Their marriage 9 or 17 Feb 1806 St Gregory Norwich [2 different dates]
Gimmya Martin to Samuel Coleman. Is this your family.
-
yes it is my family I think the first date was the banns and the second the marriage ,in 1841 as you Jemima was of independent means ,she was a nurse so I think 1861 census she was living with a family ,mind you she was a good age to be working but other than that she lived with her daughter Mary (May) Price .Samuel is a mystery I cannot find him anywhere ,Warminster I believe was a garrison town ,did he join the militia ,was he in the Militia when he met Jemima in Norwich ,no family members witnessed their marriage .I have plenty of questions but unfortunately not many answers any help would be appreciated .cath
