Title: Carstairs Cemetery
Post by: cfforrest on Friday 17 July 15 02:09 BST (UK)
A few years back someone took some headstone photos in this cemetery and I noted that there were several with FORREST names.  There is one with FORREST/MILLAR which I would like to confirm is my 4ggrandfather, Robert Forrest and Janet Miller (Millar).  Is anyone familiar with this cemetery?  I was in Scotland in 2008 and found my 3ggrandfather in the Lanark cemetery but didn't check out Carstairs.

The only stone with both  Forrest & Miller surnames listed in the book of Monumental Inscriptions is no 113 which was erected by James Forrest in memory of his Grandfather James and Grandmother Jean Miller  father James and mother Marion Smellie
