Revisting John King 1823. Previous Ancestry gave birth as Tetbury or Tedbury. His father was the brick wall born at sea. Later printer friendly show Ledbury with in brackets underneath Tetbury. However looking at 1840 RG12/2057 John King is given as what looks like Ledbury but I'm not sure particularly as the county is Gloucestershire. Is it Ledbury?

Hi,
RG12/2057 (1891 census) pob - Ledbury.
An Anc****y member has submitted a correction to this John King stating that on previous census his pob was Tetbury.

Having looked again at the image it could very well be Teclbury ???
This John King is on the 1881 living at the same address as that of the 1891. On that census his pob is Tetbury.

Firsty if my commemts seem brief it's only because I'm composing on mobile
Thank you all for your comments. I've never been happy with born at sea. Having downloaded quite sometime back People of Tetbury in 1735 by Elizabeth Janson and concentrating on King I'm more convinced he descends from there. Proving it of course is another matter.
I'm aware of the nephew - thanks for all the census info most helpful - and along with James King (most likely brother of John) are other avenues to revisit
Thanks Ray
