Hello
Do you have any info on Margaret or Jeremiah. Margaret was supposed of committed suicide. She had 3 sons, James abt 1904, Jeremiah abt 1908 and Simon abt 1913. Simon lived most of his life in mental institute/hospital/home I believe, where I don't know?. I think Simon may of died in the 70's

1911 census says married 8 years- their marriage certificate will say if Jeremiah was widowed, divorces or single at the time of the marriage-

Parents - Jermiah McCarthy (farmer) and Margaret Ryan
witnesses at baptism were David Molumphy and Mary Cashell
son James born 23 aug 1904 in lisangree, ballyduff
witnesses were Daniel Crotty and Mary O'Keefe
and lastly son Simon born 31 May 1913 again lisangree, ballyduff
witnesses Michael O'Keefe and and Mary Burns
I cant yet locate any marriage. If she was from Cork they were perhaps married in the part of cork not yet on Roots Ireland

So through the the link above they married 1903 in youghal. I would order the cert, as it will give you fathers nAmes of both spouse.
