I have located all of the census records relating to the TINNUCHE family in Wales yet I can still not find any records of baptisms etc. I also have the complete listings from the GRO [Ancestry] of BMD relating to the family yet they remain elusive when it comes to other records.
In the past I have contacted members of the family who have promised to send me details on receipt of the family tree but after nearly 20 yrs this info is still not forthcoming. :(
Any help in location any info [Baptisms etc] would be more that welcomed. :) :)
Many thanks
Alan Tennuchi [Just one of many variations of the surname] ;D

The only baptisms I can find are for West Yorkshire and Manchester :( Any chance they moved from there? I can find a load on the birth index.

Hi Dee
Thanks for the reply. With this family there is no telling where they went or ended up ;D I would appreciate the info that U have for Manchester and Yorkshire though as I do not have that.
I do have a complete list of Birth, Marriages and Deaths from Ancestry and that is the easy part. It's just the parish records that are elusive. Failing that, it means buying the birth certs over a period of time.
Many Thanks
Alan

Have you tried the record office in Carmarthen. They may well hold records for the chapel in Drefach, Llanelli. At the moment I cannot remember the name of the chapel. The chapel is not located in Drefach it is in a neighbouring village. There are Tinnuche family in Llangennech as well. The records you need then is for St Gwynog's Church, Llangennech. Again available at the Carmarthen record office.

Seems to be an interesting family, having read the news items.

The chapel that serves Drefach, Llanelli, is Capel Seion located on the road to Mynydd Cerrig

Hello, randomly came across this thread while searching something separate. My mothers maiden name is Tinnuche, they are from the Llanelli area in South Wales.
Not sure if this thread is still active.
