Would any one already have the transcripts for the Uxbridge Cemetery. I am looking for only one grave and whoever may be buried with him
William Walsh, 92 yrs, died Apr 15 1922
ThankYou!!

I can check the next time I'm at the Uxbridge library. BTW, Uxbridge is in the Regional Municipality of Durham, not Durham County. Before amalgamation in the 1970s, it was in Ontario County, so that would be the way to enter William Walsh's death information in 1922.

Thank You Eileen! Its very helpful to know the original county name, appreciate that info.

Altho' his obituary indicates he was buried in Uxbridge Cemetery, there is no stone for him, and the burial records have been lost, so no help there. I do have a copy of his obit if you are interested.

Oh that is disappointing, but thankyou Eileen for checking. I do have the obit and yes it states that is where he is buried..wonder how the records were lost?

I remember speaking to the caretaker at one point a few years ago and I believe they were lost in a fire.
