Title: Monk from Sussex
Post by: MartinTaylor on Tuesday 23 June 15 15:39 BST (UK)
Hi, I'm on the look out for my Mum's half Brother's children.

I found M. Monk a few years ago in Battle, Sussex, but she didn't seem to want to know claiming I wasn't her cousin.I also found her Brother C. Monk in Scotland..... a Vet Dentist. I haven't heard from him since. They also had 2 older sisters L & R. I grew up with them, going to stay with them on a Farm in Guestling/ Icklesham Sussex.
Their parents were Leonard & Ursula Monk.

Leonard had photo's I would love copies of. My Mum passed away when I was 8 years old & then I was in Foster Care for nearly 2 years... this is when we lost touch with the Monk Family.

Hi Martin,

Welcome to RootsChat.

We normally researching deceased family members doing our family history.  I have edited the first names from your posting as we do not publish details of living people on RootsChat.

It sounds like that you have already discovered quite a few of your Cousin's from your Mum's Brother so I guess it is only the two girls that you are looking for then? Have you thought of contacting the local newspaper the family may still be living in the local area ?

You will also find more tips here:

Hi there Martin

According to the Electoral Registers for 2012 - 2013, The people you were looking for were alive and living in East Sussex - not exactly sure as I don't have a subscription to 192.com

Perhaps someone can help you further

The address of these people, I won't give names as they are still living, can be found on Find My Past.
