Hi, I was wondering if someone could do a Electoral role lookup for the above brothers. I am after their respective occupations. I know that both Mervyn and Arthur were Boxers but wondered if they held other skills and did other work to supplement their incomes? Also what Walter did for a living.
Mervyn was born 1902 Sydney, Married in 1935 Randwick to Emily WATSON, Died 1963.
Walter was born 1904 sydney, Married 1928 Queanbeyan Elsie JOHNSTON, Died after 1985.Lived the majority of his life Canberra/Queanbeyan
Arthur was born 1906 Sydney Married 1928 Hurstville to Ellen IRVING died 1946.
I have most of their respective details but if SKS could do a lookup that would be most appreciated.
Cheers
Neil

Thanks for all that, odd with him as a female, very unusual BOXER ::) Norton Steet he was with his half brother and his wife apparently. He must have moved back home to Penshurst in 33 to be with his mother, who was not well. She passed away in 33.
Arthur being a machinist now rings tiny little bells. He think he had something to do with Artillery or shell casings, during the war? That seems to fit, now that you have found out the machinist occupation.
Many thanks. It all helps fill in the gaps. :)

Hello
I looked for ElsieJohnston's adWalter Todd'smarriage on ancestry (to see if they had middle initials) and found this
Elsie S Johnston and Walter A Todd
Marriage - 1925
Registration Place - Hunters Hill, New South Wales
Registration Year 1925
Reg number 17906
which matches the NSW BMD's. Did your finger hit the 8 instead of 5 in your first post? :)

Hi, Thanks for that. So sorry about the wrong date my transcription error I had it wrong on the tree. Some years back now, so just as well corrected. The Aingier is his mothers maiden name, so never knew that :D The Marie is a mystery will have to see what I can find out about her.
Really appreciated. Nice to have just that little more detail on their lives.

Obviously Walter Angier & Elsie Susan TODD divorced by 1943 as Elsie Susan TODD remarried that year.

Many thanks to Merlin & Ros. I don't think I need the gory details Ros ::) Looks as though there was another bloke involved. 8)
Great links thanks Merlin and for the balance of the details. ;) That has certainly brought me up to date with the detail. I never knew about the divorce, little contact meant little info. My Dad's other siblings I saw plenty of and therefore had much more info on them.
Cheers to all.

Hi, I knew Walter Angier Todd born 31 march 1904 as my grandfather who lived with my grandmother Louisa Mary Lewis. Walter was married to Elsie Johnston and they had 2 daughters then divorced. Walter died when I was 24 years old. so I only knew him and visited them till that day. I attended his funeral in Canberra 18 March 1988 with my family. Louisa or Marie as known passed in 1980 that is why she is not on the register that year.

Hullo Joanne.
Should I say Cousin. I am the youngest son of Frank Andrew the younger brother of Walter. I would be interested to contact if possible.
