Hi Satchwell
you may have this already but Ancestry has baptism record for Eliz Satchwell 7 Dec 1701 Stoneleigh (Father Wm, Mother Eliz)

Hello
Just to add that baptism says he is a miller.
There is another William Satchwell miller at Stivichall mentioned in 1694 deed at the Shakespeare Trust ,it may be the same man or perhaps his father.
There's two Wills for William Satchwell miller at Staffordshire Record office available to order at
http://www.staffsnameindexes.org.uk
The William above 1709 Stivichall and William at Leamington Priors 1752

Good Afternoon
I've now gone back and done the records by hand instead of using the index.I didn't before because the writing is a bit difficult.
I've done Stoneleigh ,Stivichall and Baginton 1665-1725 ish(Idid abit extra on some of them because they aren't always in date order)
So William and Elizabeth have the following:-
William 24/2/1695 at Stivichall (10mths after the weddding so Will only)
Mary 28.3.1699 at Stoneleigh (both)
Elizabeth 7.12.1701
Anne 28.12.1704 miller Stoneleigh
Samuel 16.10.1706 Stoneleigh
At Stivichall there is this
Samuel s of William and Mary 2/5/1683
Mary d of Samuel 1.2.1711
Elizabeth 23.1.1713 d of Samuel
Joseph 16.12.1716 s of Samuel and Mary
For the Jeffreys there's this
Ann Jeffries married 3.10.1695 Joseph Barr at Stoneleigh
John Jeffreys buried 5.3.1711 Stoneleigh
Mary d of John and Mary baptised 26.1.1691 Stoneleigh
Hannah d of Edward and Mary Jeffries baptised 21.2.1730 Stivichall
Also from the index Leamington priors
William Satchwell so Joseph and Hannah miller 9/4/1700
There are two mills in the area one Old Stivichall Mill at the Witham Abbey area and the other Baginton Mill which is now a hotel pub. Both are on the River Sowe.

Firstly I must apologize for the delay in replying to your answers. My husband has not been well & research has been on the back burner. madfan & ciderdrinker I really appreciate all the information you have found for me & need to peruse same & decide where to take my research from here. I'm trying to see if the Samuel 16.10.1706 Stoneleigh may be the Samuel Satchell of Hempton, Oxf, who married Martha Taylor 26/12/1734 at Deddington. Martha died 7/3/1750 Deddington Samuel remarried a Mary Hands (nee Allen) in Aug 1754 & Mary died23/10/1762 Deddington. I have traced the family of Samuel & Martha & Samuel & Mary didn't have a family together. I have not been able to find a death nor birth for Samuel. Many thanks
