Hello Carla
Thank you for the information on James C Lang. I have downloaded the image of Helles and register. I am not certain that your J Lang's marriage is my one. I was hoping he would have been a Border man. I will keep searching as I have just started my search on this person. Eneri.

Hi Eneri....This probate record matches the death date, name and regiment that you gave us to work on....so that makes the marriage correct.

Hi all ,
Were his parents Gavin Lang and Frances Mary Corbet ?

The text is a bit mixed up but the dates are there -
James Corbet, captain K.O.S.B., born 29th Aug. 1874, killed in Gallipoli, ,,,,,,,,,,,, 12th July 1915
Carol , looks like this family were in Canada in the 1870's.

Good find....The only match I found for him in the UK him was on the Irish 1911 census as being born in Canada....so it all fits.
