Hi, not really sure where to start with this one, she appears in the household of William Wood in 1911 census as a niece but can not find much out about her.
William Wood born 1857 Grantham wed Esther Green 1900 Peterborough, they had daughter Esther Elizabeth 1901(2) mum dies and her sister brings up the child. Not sure how much of this is relevant, but thought give all facts . would really like to know who this Maud Cox is and how she is Niece.
Appreciate any help or advice with this one..
Thanks

Actually,it looks like William and Fanny Elizabeth got married (see FreeBMD).
Niece Maud is the daughter of Hill*ria (sp?) GREEN and Samuel COX. She's on the 1891 census with them transcribed on A*try as Maud M Yeslox. ::

I too am searching for my Cox ancestors. William Cox & Charlotte Cox (LANE) lived at Ealing in Middlesex. I am Mabel Getrude's Cox's grand son. She was born in 1880 and married my grandfather Archibald Arrol Stewart
