Title: Coton family - bible
Post by: Viv Stanshall on Sunday 24 May 15 12:04 BST (UK)
Not really a 'family bible' - there's no list of family members etc. - but a bible inscribed as a gift from her parents to a Nineteenth century Fanny Coton on her 21st birthday.

I have no idea of location - and can't remember how it came into my possession.

If anyone has an interest in it, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Probably no connection,  but I once lived at Coton House  near rugby A426

Big country mansion out in the country (but now has the M6 running nearby)

Hello Viv, my great grandmother was a Fanny Coton. She died when my nan (95 years and still hanging in there) was a young girl so she only has 2 photos of her mum. I wonder if there are any dates or any way of working out if it could be the same Fanny Coton?

I know it’s been a while since your post, but if you still have the bible would you mind getting in touch?
