Title: where was Millbrook, Fahan?
Post by: manalan on Thursday 14 May 15 12:19 BST (UK)
I have an ancestor (William Beatty, abt 1787 - 1850) recorded as a farmer living at Millbrook, Fahan, Donegal.
Does anyone know if Millbrook would be the name of the farm? Or would it be the area? (There are other - and I think related - Beattys listed as residents at Letter and Buncrana.)
Any ideas on how I can find more information on Millbrook?
Thanks in anticipation :)

You can see Millbrook marked on Griffith's Valuation maps just to the north-east of Fahan School:
