Title: William Skinner, 12th Bn. of Foot
Post by: ShirleyMay on Wednesday 13 May 15 17:47 BST (UK)
Hello all,
Just joined after coming across reply from a Neil1821 with regards to the 1st Batt. 12th of Foot.
My great/granduncle William SKINNER of Worcester was Attested for the 12th at Coventry on 18th June 1838, aged 18. He served 20yrs 339days. !2.3/4yrs abroad. 7.1/2 in Maurituis....? And 5.1/4yrs in The Australian Colonies...?
I noticed that one of Neil's research names was SKINNER wondered if same family.

Kind regards
Shirley
