And here's a photo of Trevor's other grandfather as a child. It is much more damaged than the previous one I have just posted of Thomas. This photo shows Stan Hill (born 1904) with his elder sister. Although he and his sister are together at this point in their lives, they were later separated when they were both adopted, a sad story but probably not unusual for those times.
Not sure if the photo can be repaired due to the poor condition but would appreciate anything that can be done to improve it. And colour would be ok too.
thanks ... Leend

Just wonderful! Many thanks to TraceyWoods, Tommy Fromri, Pablo59, Mozza29-Morrie, Japeflakes, Cazza50-Caz. You have all made such great improvements to my badly damaged photo and the results cover such a broad range. Its really moving in lots of ways to see restored photos of family from so long ago.
Being a member of this Rootschat community is such a privilege and having access to photo experts who are willing and able to do these sort of restorations is great. And as such, you are all treasures and much appreciated.
Many thanks .. Leend
