Hi
Don't know if this is going to help a great deal but here are the Warings in Prenton 1841, where I believe your Sarah was born.
HO107-128-16-Page 24 Prenton Woodchurch Parish
William Waring 40/45 ag lab born in county
Mary 40/45
Ann 8
Elizabeth 3
Thomas 1
next page (25)
Thomas Johnson 35 farmer
Jane 25
John Waring 10 male servant
Sarah ~ 15 female servant
Elizabeth ~ 20 ~
going by the births in the CPR there should be another William and Mary + family in Prenton but there isn't, I search through all the townships in the Woodchurch Parish but did not find them, sorry

thanks Peter for once again looking some one up for me.I have been looking through 1851 census and can only find one William and Mary and it seem to match the one you found for 1841 The Sarah you found looks like it could be the right one I will keep on looking
Thanks again Alan

I have just been puzzling about the 2 William and Marys and I think the second William is shown as Norway on the 1841 census. Assume he is with second wife Hannah and daughter Elizabeth 20, son John 12 and daughter Mary 3. The other William and Mary are in Lancs..Allerton 1851, with children William, Thomas and Edmund.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply I am still trying to find out which William is mine. On wedding cert for Sarah 1/7/1845 at Woodchurch it gives the adress as Noctorum.
-
Noctorum only has a few families living there. No Warings.Maybe she wasMarried from her future husbands home.
There is an Edmund Waring 55 ag lab
Jane 53
on the same page but not the same household as Sarah
All born in county.

thanks for information

Hi,
I am also interested in William Waring from this part of the Wirral. Alan has been in touch with me before but I can't sort out my families either. I need a William Waring a farmer of Brimstage but I can't find his daughter Hannah who was born in 1825 and married in 1843. I see there is a Hannah married to William, is it possible young Hannah was living/in service elsewhere? There is only the 1841 census to go on as I have all the records after her marriage but can find no record of her birth.
Cheers
Sue

Brilliant, that West Kirby one looks good, her future husband lived there too, on his father's farm, so quite likely they would have met. It was only a small hamlet then and she's the right age.
The Eastham one is a possibility too but I think it less likely, she would not have met her husband-to-be and married within three years.
Is the information on the 1841 census minimal, no addresses or clues to the whereabouts? I assume Bessy and Elizabeth were ladies of independent means and Hannah was their hired help.
Thank you so much
Sue
